We Found Who Has the Cheapest Auto Insurance
When we decided it was time to get a new car, I never imagined how hard it was going to be. I’d lost my job a few years back and our credit had taken a hit. Despite that, we’d managed to save up a bit of money. I thought if we went to the dealer with a large enough down payment, they’d overlook our credit score and give us a decent interest rate.
I was wrong. That essentially left us with three options. One, we could put the money into our old car and get it fixed. That was a short-term fix because, honestly, that car was on its last legs. Or, wheel, ha ha. Two, we could use the money we had as a down payment on an older car but we didn’t want to do that because we were afraid that we’d only get a year or so out of it and still be paying off the loan when the car was already gone.
The third option was buy the new car at the horrible interest rate and try to pay it off as fast as we could. This was ultimately what we decided to do. We’d already scaled back a lot to save up the down payment in the first place so we just had to make sure we kept putting the same amount toward the car payment.
Of course, we also had to ask ourselves who has the cheapest auto insurance? Because insuring a new car was going to be more expensive that insuring our old one and we were trying to scrimp as much as we could. We could not afford something outrageous, it would just set us back.
What we did to find cheap auto insurance
We ended up making out pretty good. Thanks to the amazing insurance agent we found online here: http://www.whohasthecheapestautoinsurance.com, we were able to get a decent policy that didn’t completely ruin our budget. We decided to get a cheap car insurance no deposit insurance policy. We ended up paying off the car loan in 3 years instead of 5 and, here’s the best part, our credit is right back to where it was before I lost my job.
We can afford more expensive insurance now but I’ve been so happy with the policy that we decided to keep it. In fact, we’re actually thinking about buying a second car and part of the reason we can afford it is because of the great deal we got on our car insurance.
Finding good car dealerships
If there’s one thing I hate, it’s car shopping. It seems ridiculous to even say that because I’ve purchased one car in my entire lifetime so it’s not like I’ve done a lot of car shopping. Car shopping isn’t like going to the grocery store or something, you know?
Anyway, I bought my last car about 12 years ago. She was still running like a champ but I was worried about the winter approaching and wanted something a little more reliable. But I couldn’t bear the thought of running around from dealer to dealer to find out who had what and have to deal with all the voicemails and negotiating. I just don’t have time for it. So, I wasn’t so concerned with finding a good car dealership exactly. I was more worried about finding a good car.
I ended up buying a car from an online car listing website which I never thought I’d do. There are a few different kinds out there. The one I used was an aggregator of, like, every single car that’s on sale in my area. I saw cars from the newspaper want ads, used car dealerships, larger big brand dealerships, and even private owners.
Surprisingly, the 2 cars that I was most interested in were at the same dealership which was about a ten minute drive away. I begged my roommate to drive me and then sat in her car for 10 minutes because I really didn’t want to go in. I pulled up the specific car from the car listing website and showed it to the first person who approached me. I’m pretty sure they could tell that I was uncomfortable so no one tried to talk me into anything or pressure me into a longer warranty or anything like that.
I was so happy with the whole process that next time, I think I’ll try selling my car on a car listing website, too. I ended up just trading it in at the dealer where I bought my car because it seemed like the easiest thing to do. But I think if I had put some time into selling it myself, I probably could have made a little more money.
That said, I am so thankful for the internet, and this website in particular: https://www.carcanuck.ca/. I found a great car and, because I was prepared, I got a great deal on a car that I absolutely love.
How I Made Owning a Car Affordable
When I used to think about owning a car I figured it was pretty much a pipe dream. The idea of ever being able to come up with enough money to not only buy the car but then afford it on a month-to-month basis is just something that seemed completely foreign to me. And here’s the thing, I don’t think I’m alone in that thought.
In reality there are plenty of people out there who would love to own a car, take advantage of the conveniences it offers, and just enjoy that slice of freedom. It’s amazing how often money holds people back, but the fear of the unknown often ends up being untrue. This is exactly my experience when it came to owning a car.
So if you’re like me and you figured owning a car was out of reach, then you’re going to want to read on and see how I made it possible.
Start with a Budget
My very first step was to take a look at my finances and set a realistic budget. I didn’t base this budget on the cars that caught my eye, or what was trending. Instead I was honest with myself about how much of a down payment I could save, and what I could afford as far as monthly payments went.
If you find this part hard, there’s nothing wrong with visiting your bank and speaking to a financial advisor. They can break your finances down for you and help you figure out what you can afford.
Research What’s in Your Price Range
The next step I took was to research what was available in my price range. I wanted to be sure I went into the experience as an informed consumer. I checked out online reviews, consumer review websites, and spoke with friends and family about their experiences with their particular vehicle.
Look Into Car Insurance
While people often spend a whole lot of time on the price of the car, it’s also just as important to think about car insurance. Ideally you want to find very cheap car insurance no deposit, which is exactly what I managed to do. This saved me from having to put a bunch of money up-front, and my monthly payments were very affordable.
Stick to Your Guns
Lastly I found it was really important to stick to my guns when it came to shopping, making my budget and expectations clear to the salesperson.
By following these steps I’m sure you’ll find that owning a car may be a lot more affordable than you thought.
Are you stuck for ideas on what to buy your loved ones next holiday? Today, everyone seems to have everything they could possibly want. It’s no surprise that gift giving is getting harder. But maybe we can help.
Do you know someone who’s a terrible driver? Too afraid to tell them to their face? Want to leave a passive aggressive ‘subtle hint’ for them?
Well, if the answer to any of these questions is ‘yes’. As long as you have a few hundred dollars to spare, let the gift of the cheapest full coverage car insurance tell them for you.
Whether it’s your mother, other half, brother in law, or friend. They’re bound to get the message if you get them accident cover. You may never need to answer awkward questions like ‘why are you wearing that helmet in the car?’ or ‘do you always look so…tense?’ again.
Gone are the days of taking Diazepam before catching a lift. Because with any luck. Your loved ones will never offer you a ride again.
Still. Nothing says ‘I love you’ like paying for all of their future mistakes in advance.
And as there will be nothing to hand over other than policy documents, you’ll even save on wrapping paper.
Just imagine their face when on Christmas morning. There they are hands outstretched expecting a boring old diamond ring or keys to a sports car. And they open their eyes to find a thoughtful insurance policy instead. It’ll bring tears to their eyes.
And the joy isn’t just limited to Christmas. It works the same whether it’s a birthday, Valentine’s day, a divorce party. Whatever the occasion, it’s bound to make an impact.
Quoted as being ‘THE WORST PRESENT EVER’ ‘a bit boring’ and ‘slightly disappointing’. Annual full coverage car insurance is the gift that keeps on giving. If you’re against full coverage insurance you may want to look into very cheap car insurance no deposit.
So get your hands on a quote today.
There’s a quote. ‘If you owe the bank $100 that’s your problem. If you owe the bank $100 million, that’s the bank’s problem’.
Because you can probably find the money to pay a hundred bucks back right? But where the hell would you get one hundred million of them?!
You wouldn’t. You’d have to declare bankruptcy. If you declare bankruptcy then you’re essentially writing off your debts.
So if you’re in financial trouble, but don’t want to wind up paying back a shit tonne of interest. Here’s our step by step guide to owing $100 million dollars.
Step 1: Google ‘loan company near me’ and find somewhere that will lend you money without proof that you can pay it back. Heres where I found a place: http://www.financeflamingo.com/
This will be easy. The exploitation of desperate people in need of urgent cash is big business.
Step 2: Apply for the biggest loan, with the highest interest rate you can.
Step 3: Wait for approval. This should happen immediately. After all, the screening process is literally non-existent. These companies are all about giving literally anyone who asks, all the money they want in as little time as possible. Convenient!
Step 4: Take the money.
Step 5: Make sure that when the loan is due to be repaid, your accounts are empty.
Step 6: Do your best impression of an ostrich and bury your head in the sand so that the debt collectors don’t beat you down.
Step 7: Just sit back and watch your debt climb.
Because most payday loan companies charge extortionate interest rates of up to 6000% APR, even a loan of just $100 becomes $6000 after a year. Just think how much debt you can achieve with a loan of $1000.
And because companies don’t check your financial standing before issuing a loan. You can just head over to the next nearest lender to take out more money to speed the process up if you wish. The possibilities for debt are almost endless.
You’ll be declaring bankruptcy before you know it. Congrats, you’re now debt-free.
